Visit of the Delegation from the Gansu Academy of Governance (China)

In Astana, Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub, Alikhan Baimenov, and Vice President of the Gansu Academy of Governance, Xian Pen, discussed matters of bilateral cooperation.

Welcoming the Academy’s delegation, Mr. Baimenov noted that China is one of the ACSH co-founding country and that responsible government agencies actively participate in Hub’s events. The signing of the MoU with China National Academy of Governance and the establishment of a China-Central Asia Network of Academies of Governance and Public Administration have provided an additional impetus for enhancing  partnership.

In turn, Xian Pen noted that the Gansu Academy of Governance, within the framework of the "One Belt, One Road" initiative, shows a strong interest in developing cooperation with Kazakhstan and the ACSH. He emphasized that the Hub, which encompasses 43 participating countries, serves as a significant platform for international cooperation and experience exchange.

During the meeting, specific areas of cooperation were discussed, and  Chinese delegation expressed interest in the Hub’s publications. Both sides outlined their readiness to sign a Memorandum of Understanding, which will be a basis for further strengthening and deepening the partnership.
