Seminar on "Ecosystems and Conducive Environments for Innovation and Digitalization to Flourish" jointly with the Government of the Republic of Korea

On November 4-5, a seminar on “Ecosystems and Conducive Environments for Innovation and Digitalization to Flourish” will be organized by the Astana Civil Service Hub (ACSH) jointly with the Ministry of the Interior and Safety (MOIS) and National Information Society Agency (NIA) of the Republic of Korea.  

At a two-day seminar the leading practitioners from Korea, Estonia and Finland will share their valuable insights and experiences in the field of digital transformation of public administration, as well as representatives of government agencies from the countries of Central Asia and the Caucasus will present general approaches in digital transformation, their state innovation strategies and legal frameworks. The seminar will allow participants to discuss issues and get feedback from leading experts in these areas, as well as discuss prospects for collaboration.  

The event will be held on the Zoom platform, the programme can be found here. The working languages of the event: English and Russian, simultaneous translation will be organized.

The seminar is one of a series of activities within the project between the ACSH, the MOIS and the NIA. The project aims to build the capacity of public servants and practitioners for introducing innovative practices in government operations and accelerating digitalization in public service delivery in seven of the ACSH participating countries, namely from Central Asia (Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan) and the Caucasus (Armenia, Azerbaijan, Georgia). The project is designed for three years (2021-2023) and includes research, workshops, conferences and study visits.
