Astana Civil Service Hub Expands Cooperation with Uzbekistan

The Astana Civil Service Hub (ACSH) continues to expand its cooperation with Uzbekistan, following a visit by the Chairman of the ACSH Steering Committee, Mr. Alikhan Baimenov, to Tashkent on January 29-30, 2025.

During the visit, Mr. Baimenov met with First Deputy Director of the Civil Service Development Agency, Mr. Amir Temirkhon Musaev, to explore joint research and capacity development initiatives in civil service modernization, talent development, remuneration policies, and reform strategies. The partnership will enhance knowledge exchange, benchmarking, and joint publications in the ACSH International Journal while fostering engagement with international organizations.

Mr. Baimenov also met with Mr. Adkham Bekmurodov, Rector of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of Uzbekistan, culminating in the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding to advance academic exchange, research, and professional training in civil service reform. 

Additionally, Mr. Baimenov delivered a lecture on “Leadership in Public Administration and Civil Service Modernization” to over 100 women civil servants undergoing professional development at the Academy.

This collaboration marks a new phase in strengthening governance excellence through regional and international cooperation, reaffirming ACSH’s commitment to advancing civil service development and fostering partnerships in public administration.
