Astana Civil Service Hub and Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences are partnering to develop public sector innovations

On November 20, 2018 in Turkestan, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub Alikhan Baimenov and the President of the National Academy of Natural Sciences of the Republic of Kazakhstan Nurtai Abykayev signed a Memorandum of Cooperation between two organizations.

As part of the memorandum, it is planned to arrange joint academic and research activities aimed at developing and implementing innovations in civil service and public management.

“The Astana Hub conducted two rounds of Innovative Solutions Schemes. The contest aims to modernize public administration, improve public service delivery, and encourage innovation approach in government institutions. Cooperation with the Academy of Natural Sciences will give a new impetus to our efforts in supporting the innovations development in public sector”, said Alikhan Baimenov, the Chairman of the Steering Committee of the Astana Civil Service Hub.

The memorandum was signed during the on-site meeting of the Presidium of the Kazakh National Academy of Natural Sciences at the Khoja Akhmet Yassawi International Kazakh-Turkish University.
